James is an accomplished guitarist currently studying jazz at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London. He began playing guitar at the age of eight and has since become a versatile musician, performing and recording regularly around London and the South-East whilst continuing his studies at Guildhall under Malcolm Edmonstone and guitarists including Tommy Emmerton, Adam Goldsmith and Colin Oxley. 

James' playing encompasses an array of styles including rock, pop, jazz and classical, enabling him to adapt to a wide range of performance situations. Equally comfortable playing for theatre productions, functions and original projects, he has performed at a number of prestigious venues including the Barbican Concert Hall, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and The Royal Albert Hall, Elgar Room.
